We are a brick and mortar retailer starting in 1974 as The Apartment Shop. Our niche is tasteful, space saving, and multi-use home furnishings.

Today, practical and style conscience home owners have eclipsed apartment dwellers in our customer base and we are now Home & Apartment Shops.

Over the years we heard repeatedly, “your furniture is different” ergo, our site name, Differentfurniture.Com.

We don’t try to compete with the area big box stores but instead offer an alternative to bulky, high priced, same- looking furniture and bedding.

Admittedly, we’re not for everybody but we may be just right for you!
